Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) and the visiting Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL), saw Union County's basketball squad overcome Baker County by a tally of 57-46.

With the victory, Union County improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Fightin' Tigers travel to Branford (Branford, FL) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Branford won 48-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Dixie County (Cross City, FL)
