Maine High School Basketball - Mount Abram overwhelms Carrabec
January 7, 2023: Strong, ME 04983 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) and the visiting Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME), saw Mount Abram's basketball squad wallop Carrabec by a tally of 65-40.
With the victory, Mount Abram improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Roadrunners host Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to confront the Seahawks in a C South challenge on Monday, January 9. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Boothbay won 55-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME)
Next up, the Cobras confront the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a C South challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Carrabec will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 79-51 league win over Madison (Madison, ME).
