Maine High School Basketball - Dirigo topples Carrabec
January 11, 2023: Dixfield, ME 04224 In Wednesday's league outing, the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME), by a count of 76-57.
The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Mustangs go into the C South outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Monmouth Academy defeated Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 64-44, in a non-league outing.
The Cobras now hold a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wiscasset for a C South match on Saturday, January 14. Carrabec will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 69-20 league loss to Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-5.
