Maine High School Basketball - Dirigo tops Lisbon
December 10, 2022: Dixfield, ME 04224 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) and the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), saw Dirigo's basketball squad knock off Lisbon by a count of 70-52.
With the victory, Dirigo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to play the Seahawks in a C South challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Boothbay won 66-48 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Madison, ME)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 75-23 league loss to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME).
