In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Independence 76ers basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Central Crossing Comets.

In their next game, the 76ers meet the West Cowboys (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - South match, on Tuesday, January 10. Independence will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
