Mifflin Punchers (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mifflin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Punchers host Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH) to play the Barons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Barons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Buckeye Valley won 54-33 in their recent league bout against Wellington School (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye bout, on Friday, December 2. Central Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Gales go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH).
