January 7, 2023: Dixon, IL 61021 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), by a count of 55-43.
The Dukes & Duchesses (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings go into the Big Northern outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, North Boone defeated Woodstock (Woodstock, IL), 51-43, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal Lake South for a Fox Valley outing on Wednesday, January 11. McHenry will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 65-42 non-league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Gators record now stands at 13-4.
