Illinois High School Basketball - Downers Grove South falls to Wheaton North
January 7, 2023: Downers Grove, IL 60516 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Wheaton North Falcons basketball team scored a good 69-50 triumph over the Downers Grove South Mustangs.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane match, on Wednesday, January 11. Wheaton North will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 65-53 non-league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL).
With the defeat, Downers Grove South moves to 3-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL) to meet the Mustangs in a West Suburban - Gold match on Tuesday, January 10.
