January 7, 2023: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM), by a margin of 61-31.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Lordsburg was trounced by Silver (Silver City, NM), 51-43, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Crownpoint for a 3A District 1 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Wingate will play a Eagles squad coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
