New Jersey High School Basketball - Roselle Catholic thwarts Immaculate Conception
January 7, 2023: Roselle, NJ 07203 The Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ), 90-70 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Weequahic (Newark, NJ). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Weequahic went down by Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ), 71-44, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a Super Essex - American test on Tuesday, January 10. Immaculate Conception will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.
