Alaska High School Basketball - Nome-Beltz fells Kenai Central
January 7, 2023: Nome, AK 99762 Nome-Beltz Nanooks (Nome, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), 53-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nome-Beltz upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Nanooks travel to Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Kardinals play the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Kenai Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
