Illinois High School Basketball - St. Teresa nips Mt. Pulaski
January 7, 2023: Decatur, IL 62526 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), saw St. Teresa's basketball squad hold off Mt. Pulaski by a count of 53-49.
With the victory, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Maroa-Forsyth lost 46-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Eureka (Eureka, IL)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) in a Tomahawk challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
