Illinois High School Basketball - Decatur Lutheran fells St. Teresa
December 29, 2022: Decatur, IL 62526 Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL), 57-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Decatur Lutheran upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Lions host Arcola (Arcola, IL) to clash with the Purple Riders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Purple Riders go into the bout with a record of 5-7.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL) in a Central Illinois challenge, on Friday, January 6. St. Teresa will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 67-61 non-league win over Peoria Heights/Quest Charter Academy (Peoria Heights, IL).
