St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), 73-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tuscola (Tuscola, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Tuscola won 58-27 in their recent non-league bout against Sullivan (Sullivan, IL)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 58-27 non-league loss to Tuscola (Tuscola, IL).
