In Saturday's non-league match, the host Upson-Lee Knights basketball team scored a tight 70-65 triumph over the Spalding Jaguars.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) in a AAA Region 2 match, on Tuesday, January 10. Upson-Lee will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 59-54 non-league loss to Griffin (Griffin, GA).
