Arkansas High School Basketball - Benton overwhelms Hot Springs
January 7, 2023: Benton, AR 72015 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) and the visiting Hot Springs Trojans (Hot Springs, AR), saw Benton's basketball squad wallop Hot Springs by a count of 71-42.
With the victory, Benton upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR) to play the Zebras in a 5A South challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Zebras come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Pine Bluff lost 51-39 in their recent league challenge against White Hall (White Hall, AR)
Next up, the Trojans play the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR) in a 5A South challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 61-60 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, AR).
