Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), 55-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Brewer upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Witches host Nokomis (Newport, ME) to play the Warriors in a A North bout on Thursday, January 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Cougars play the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Mt. Blue will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
