Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), 46-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Nokomis upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to play the Eagles in a A North bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Mt. Blue will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
