In Saturday's league match, the host Eagle Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 45-40 triumph over the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho match, on Friday, January 13. Eagle will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Kavemen enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 40-36 league win over Centennial (Boise, ID).
