Iowa High School Basketball - Johnston crushes Indianola
January 7, 2023: Indianola, IA 50125 Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA), 67-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Johnston upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Dragons host Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Ankeny won 71-42 in their recent non-league bout against Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Indianola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA).
