Washington High School Basketball - Kentwood crushes Jefferson
January 7, 2023: Covington, WA 98042 Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson Raiders (Auburn, WA), 64-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Kentwood upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Conquerors host Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Kent-Meridian lost 80-14 in their recent league bout against Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Decatur Golden Gators (Federal Way, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Gators go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 58-32 non-league win over Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA).
