Georgia High School Basketball - Towns County nudges Warren County

January 7, 2023: Warrenton, GA 30828

Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Towns County upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Summit Charter won 39-33 in their recent non-league bout against Victory Christian (Sylva, NC)

Next up, the Screaming Devils clash with the Curtis Baptist Crusaders (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Warren County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 42-23 non-league win over Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC).
