Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 25-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Clara upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bruins host Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to play the Chargers in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Wilcox lost 31-30 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Milpitas will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 32-20 league win over Gunn (Palo Alto, CA).
