The New Canaan Rams trounced the visiting Ridgefield Tigers ice hockey squad by a count of 6-1 in Saturday's league bout.

With the victory, New Canaan moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Darien (Darien, CT) to face the Blue Wave in a FCIAC bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Darien 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI)

The Tigers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warde/Ludlowe for a FCIAC bout on Wednesday, January 11. Ridgefield will face a squad coming off a 5-3 league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The record now stands at 6-0.
