The Newport Christian Seahawks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Acaciawood Golden Eagles to 35 in the Seahawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Seahawks now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Samueli Academy for a Express game on Friday, January 10. Newport Christian will confront a Firewolves team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Vistamar (El Segundo, CA). The Firewolves record now stands at 6-8.
