Minnesota High School Basketball - Walker-Hackensack-Akeley overwhelms Blackduck
January 7, 2025: Blackduck, MN 56630 The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Blackduck Drakes to 20 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Red Lake for a A Section 8 game on Friday, January 10. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 87-60 non-league loss to Clearbrook-Gonvick (Clearbrook, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Blackduck falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Drakes travel to Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN) to confront the Bears in a A Section 8 game on Thursday, January 9. The Bears go into the game with a record of 0-7. Lake of the Woods lost 79-27 in their recent non-league game against Kittson Central (Hallock, MN)
