California High School Basketball - La Quinta thwarts Bolsa Grande
January 7, 2025: Garden Grove, CA 92844 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) and the host Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), observed La Quinta's basketball team knock off Bolsa Grande by a score of 56-37.
The Aztecs (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels come into the Orange challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia was knocked off by Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA), 58-18, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA) in a Orange challenge, on Friday, January 10. Bolsa Grande will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 65-28 league win over Century (Santa Ana, CA).
