In Tuesday's league contest, the host Dietrich Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 66-55 win over the Carey Panthers.

The Blue Devils (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hansen (Hansen, ID). The Huskies come into the 1A Sawtooth contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Hansen was topped by Gooding (Gooding, ID), 68-19, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Richfield Tigers (Richfield, ID) in a 1A Sawtooth contest, on Thursday, January 9. Carey will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
