Texas High School Basketball - Harper overwhelms Center Point

The Harper Longhorns basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Center Point Pirates to 14 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now have a 11-12 record. They play next when they host San Saba for a 2A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, January 10. Harper will confront a Armadillos team coming off a 36-31 league loss to Junction (Junction, TX). The Armadillos record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Center Point falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Mason (Mason, TX) to confront the Punchers in a 2A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, January 10. The Punchers go into the game with a record of 2-10. Mason won 52-42 in their recent league game against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX)
