January 7, 2025: Voorheesville, NY 12186 Voorheesville Blackbirds (Voorheesville, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY), 67-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Voorheesville upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Blackbirds host Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY) to face the Riders in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty match on Friday, January 10. The Riders enter the match with a record of 3-5. In their next game, the Tigers battle the Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Cohoes will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Flying Horses come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 75-71 league loss to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY).
