In Friday's league contest, the host La Salle Institute Cadets basketball team scored a big 96-53 triumph over the Voorheesville Blackbirds.

The Cadets (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Shenendehowa smashed Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 55-35, in a league contest.
