New York High School Basketball - Ichabod Crane overwhelmed by La Salle Institute
February 4, 2025: Troy, NY 12180 In Tuesday's league test, the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY), by a final score of 90-49.
Next, the Cadets clash with the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot test, on Friday, February 7. La Salle Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 11-6 record after their 62-58 non-league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY).
The Riders (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds come into the Section 2 Colonial - Patriot test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Voorheesville bounced Troy (Troy, NY), 66-54, in a league test.
