New York High School Basketball - Ichabod Crane nips Lansingburgh
February 1, 2025: Valatie, NY 12184 In Saturday's league contest, the host Ichabod Crane Riders basketball team scored a close 56-55 triumph over the Lansingburgh Knights.
The Riders (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets go into the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, La Salle Institute was tipped by Portledge (Locust Valley, NY), 81-78, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians (Ravena, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Lansingburgh will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY).
