New York High School Basketball - Mohonasen can't hold off Lansingburgh
February 7, 2025: Schenectady, NY 12303 Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), 46-42 in a league match.
With the victory, Lansingburgh upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Knights host Troy (Troy, NY) to face the Flying Horses in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty match on Saturday, February 8. The Flying Horses enter the match with a record of 11-5. Troy lost 66-54 in their recent league match against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY)
The Warriors now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cohoes for a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot match on Tuesday, February 11. Mohonasen will face a Tigers squad coming off a 85-54 league loss to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-12.
