New York High School Basketball - Saratoga Springs overwhelms Lansingburgh
December 15, 2024: Troy, NY 12182 The Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Lansingburgh Knights to 31 in the Blue Streaks non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Blue Streaks now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Colonie Central for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue game on Tuesday, December 17. Saratoga Springs will confront a Raiders team coming off a 75-47 league win over Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Lansingburgh falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY) to confront the Blackbirds in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot game on Tuesday, December 17. The Blackbirds go into the game with a record of 0-1. Voorheesville lost 64-58 in their recent league game against Catholic Central (Troy, NY)
