January 7, 2025: Bloomington, IL 61705 Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), 60-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tri-Valley advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL) to face the Titans in a Heart of Illinois match on Friday, January 10. The Titans enter the match with a record of 11-3. El Paso-Gridley won 64-46 in their recent league match against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL)
The Cyclones now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeview for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Cornerstone Christian will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 82-61 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-7.
