Illinois High School Basketball - St. Bede crushes DePue
January 7, 2025: DePue, IL 61322 The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) basketball crushed the host DePue Little Giants (DePue, IL), 69-29 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette for a Tri-County bout on Friday, January 10. St. Bede will play a Crusaders team coming off a 70-43 non-league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, DePue falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Little giants host Earlville (Earlville, IL) to play the Red Raiders in a Little Ten bout on Friday, January 17. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-14.
