January 7, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89141 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), observed Desert Oasis's basketball team overwhelm Western by a margin of 71-49.
The Diamondbacks (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers come into the 4A Lake challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Canyon Springs was trounced by Silverado (Las Vegas, NV), 60-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sky challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Western will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 77-33 league win over Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV).
