In Friday's non-league test, the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 69-54.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Cimarron-Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 60-46 non-league win over Green Valley (Henderson, NV).

The Diamondbacks (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.
