Latta Vikings (Latta, SC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC), 42-39 in a league battle.

With the victory, Latta advances its record to 4-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lake View (Lake View, SC) to meet the Wild Gators in a A Region 6 battle on Thursday, January 9. The Wild Gators enter the battle with a record of 0-6. Lake View lost 54-37 in their recent league battle against Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC)

The Tigers now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carvers Bay for a A Region 6 battle on Friday, January 10. Hemingway will meet a Bears squad coming off a 54-37 league win over Lake View (Lake View, SC). The Bears record now stands at 8-8.
