Tennessee High School Basketball - Henry County fells Union City
January 7, 2025: Union City, TN 38261 The Henry County Patriots basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Union City Golden Tornadoes to 51 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Kenwood for a 4A District 14 game on Thursday, January 9. Henry County will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-39 non-league loss to Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Union City falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Golden tornadoes host South Fulton (South Fulton, TN) to confront the Red Devils in a 1A District 14 game on Thursday, January 9. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 3-6. South Fulton won 56-52 in their recent non-league game against Fulton County (Hickman, KY)
