Minnesota High School Basketball - Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted victorious over Litchfield
January 7, 2025: Litchfield, MN 55355 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the Litchfield Dragons.
The Lakers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, New London-Spicer was topped by Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN), 99-83, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) in a AA Section 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. Litchfield will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record.
