With the victory, Mahomet-Seymour advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Richwoods (Peoria, IL) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Knights enter the match with a record of 7-7. Richwoods lost 52-40 in their recent non-league match against Manual (Peoria, IL)
The Eagles now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda for a Illini Prairie challenge on Friday, January 10. Rantoul will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 42-34 non-league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
