The Powers Catholic Chargers basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers to 68 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Morris for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Garber (Essexville, MI) to confront the Dukes in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9.
