Michigan High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant thwarts Heritage
February 4, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the visiting Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), observed Mt. Pleasant's basketball team knock off Heritage by a score of 53-45.
The Oilers (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Dow was knocked off by Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI), 54-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 84-45 league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI).
