January 7, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27455 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), observed Southwest Guilford's basketball team knock off Northern Guilford by a score of 67-59.
The Cowboys (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers come into the 4A Metro challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Ragsdale dropped by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 64-58, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Nighthawks battle the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Northern Guilford will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 66-58 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC).
