Texas High School Basketball - Tatum overwhelms West Rusk
January 7, 2025: Tatum, TX 75691 The Tatum Eagles basketball team scored 105 points and limited the visiting West Rusk Raiders to 34 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Troup for a 3A Region II District 16 game on Friday, January 10. Tatum will confront a Tigers team coming off a 47-38 league win over West Rusk (New London, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.
With the loss, West Rusk falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host White Oak (White Oak, TX) to confront the Roughnecks in a 3A Region II District 16 game on Friday, January 10. The Roughnecks go into the game with a record of 7-15. White Oak won 64-39 in their recent league game against Gladewater (Gladewater, TX)
