With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Mountain Lions in a battle on Friday, January 17. The Mountain Lions enter the battle with a record of 5-5.
The Wildcats now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a battle on Thursday, January 9. Willow Canyon will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 54-36 non-league loss to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-1.
