With the victory, Calhoun City advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Bruce (Bruce, MS) to meet the Trojans in a 2A Region 2 battle on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 8-7. Bruce lost 68-39 in their recent non-league battle against Okolona (Okolona, MS)
The Dragons now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ingomar for a 2A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Palmer will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 66-21 non-league win over West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 18-1.
