In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pekin Dragons basketball team scored a close 40-38 win over the Canton Little Giants.

The Dragons (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets come into the Mid-Illini contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Limestone was tipped by Metamora (Metamora, IL), 56-44, in a league contest.
